I have been informed more than once over the past few days that my Twitterbox appears not to be operating as Desired - more specifically, that Twitterboxers were able to send updates quite satisfactorily, but not actually receive any, which was understandably frustrating for them.
On further investigation it appears that the Twitterfolk decided at some point to restrict requests to receive an Updated List of Friends' Tweets to those using the GET method. I have no idea why, but who am I to argue? In any case I have modified my own server script so that things should now Operate As Expected. For those using the script on their own Aethernet Servers, they may find the latest version here:
There should be no need for Twitterbox users inworld to do anything at all regarding this - it is mostly for Informational Purposes. No updating or such is required, as long as you are using version 0.4 or above.

A bit behind here, but thanks for this update! I had noticed tweets weren't coming in a few weeks ago, but they seemed to be getting posted ok and I didn't have time to look further. All seems to be working just swell now.
Actually, I'm not sure if I ever thanked you properly for your terrific script. We've been using it to great success in Chilbo for our public Twitter stations, and though they require semi-regular resetting, I'm pretty sure that's either related to general grid wackiness or my own surely horrible hack of your work. In any case, the twitter stations mostly work as planned and as you can see at http://twitter.com/chilbo - the community actually uses it!
It's been a neat experiment and we are ever appreciative of your work. If our use of the script running on your server becomes or is An Issue (I know little about these kinds of things), please let me know and I will investigate how to run it elsewhere.
